5 Memorable Limited Edition Cars

1. 2015 Mustang 50-Year Limited Edition

To commemorate the golden anniversary of one of America’s most beloved sports cars, Ford rolled out a 50-year limited edition in 2015.

Ford produced only 1,964 models, available in either Wimbledon White or Kona Blue. It features an upgraded 420-hoursepower 5.0-liter V8, six-piston Brembo front brakes, and 390 lb-ft of torque.

In a nod to the 1960’s, the car also features discreet chrome highlights around the grille, side glass, and tri-bar taillights.

2. Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels Edition

Chevy has rolled out all sorts of limited edition cars in recent years, but the Camaro Hot Wheels Edition may be the best yet.

A specially-designed 2-SS model, this 2013 Camaro became the first life-sized replica of a Hot Wheels toy ever produced.

More than just looking cool, the Hot Wheels Camaro clocks an impressive quarter-mile in 13 seconds.

3. Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat

Who wins the title for most powerful muscle car ever manufactured?

This goes to Dodge and their Hellcat’s supercharged V8 motor that produces an astonishing 707bhp. It also features an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic gearbox that diverts power to the rear axles.

The 2014 Hellcat is also a throwback to its predecessor, with many styling cues adopted from the original 1971 Challenger.

4. 1986 Mercedes-Benz AMG Hammer

1986 may seem like a long time ago now.

But back then, if you were rich and you wanted to drive fast, the Mercedes-Benz AMG Hammer was the vehicle of choice. The iconic car featured a modified 300E that gave it a 396-horsepower V8 and a top speed of 180mph.

At the time, it was the fastest four-door vehicle ever produced. Less than thirty of them ever hit the market!

5. Lamborghini Veneno

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Lamborghini rolled out the visually striking Veneno.

Bearing some semblance to the Batmobile, the Veneno can top out at 221mph. Under its hood, you’ll find a seriously impressive 6.5-liter V12 engine that puts out 740-horsepower.

If you want one of these “Batmobiles” for yourself, it’ll cost more than a pretty penny. Lamborghini produced only a handful of Venenos, and they sold for about $4 million each.
