your questions as well. All-data will automatically ignore your second purchase. This happens sometimes and their payment processing system deletes double purchases on the same business day. You can confirm this by contacting your credit card service and reviewing your last purchases.

As far as adding additional vehicles this can be done on the all-data website under your account information. This is where your subscribed vehicles are listed. Additional vehicles after the initial purchase are $16.95 per vehicle per year or $29.95 for five years. So you actually get a discount on additional vehicles. You do not have to pay full price.

Car repair online FAQ

Mr. Gittelman. I recently joined the online service manual system you recommended to help a friend with her truck. As I explained it was a one time deal with that vehicle.

All-Data kindly answered my request to exchange that vehicle with one of my own. I didn't change it right away and in the interim The e-mail with instructions got deleted.

I write to ask if I could still change vehicles because I now have need to repair one of my own. Thank you for this great automotive site. I think the online auto repair manuals are better then the paper ones and well worth the money.  Dave

Hello Dave: Your online repair manual account allows you to change your subscription vehicle one time during the subscription year. Simply forward your new vehicle information to customer support, and they will go into the system and change it for you. Here is a short cut to the Help Desk submission form.
